Helton Pointe Apartments Celebrates Grand Opening

January 25, 2016 - On January 25, officials with the Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH), Kentucky Housing Corporation, Housing Authority of Williamstown, and The Model Group, Inc., celebrated the construction of 23 affordable family housing units in Williamstown, Kentucky with a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony.

Helton Pointe Apartments consists of 3 three-story walk-up buildings housing 6 two-bedroom apartments and 17 three-bedroom apartments. Adjacent to the development are current Williamstown Housing Authority homes which will be integrated into the Helton Pointe community with a new community room and leasing office.

Helton Pointe features kitchens with stainless steel sinks, refrigerators, electric ranges, and microwave ovens. All homes contain central air conditioning and washer/dryer hookups. 

Helton Pointe Ribbon CuttingHelton Pointe Apartments was developed using a combination of Low Income Housing Tax Credits, a HOME loan, and Affordable Housing Trust Funds administered through Kentucky Housing Corporation, a construction to permanent financing loan through Bank of Kentucky, and funding through the Ohio Capital Finance Corporation.  Equity investment was provided by Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing.
