OCCH Hosts Successful 5th Annual Manager and Maintenance Conference

OCCH’s 5th annual Manager and Maintenance Conference (aka M2Con 2017) was a great success!  230+ participants attended this 2 day conference hosted in Columbus on April 11th-12th, geared toward front-line management and maintenance staff.  Nationally-recognized speakers included Debbie Phillips from a consulting group called The Quadrillion and Mark Cukro from Service Team Training.

Participants in the Management track gained training on a wide range of topics including disaster preparedness, bed bugs, effective marketing techniques and strategies to modify tenant behavior.  Maintenance staff explored how to effectively troubleshoot appliances while learning about new and innovative products, cleaning chemicals to improve productivity levels, new HVAC regulations, and concrete repair.

During the conference, OCCH was proud to recognize Deborah Reyneke from Seton Square Marion (BRC Management) with a Management Leadership Award in recognition of the exceptional level of service she provides to her residents.  Bobby Sharp from Wells Manor (Gorsuch Management) received a Maintenance Leadership Award for repeatedly going above-and-beyond the call of duty.

93% of the survey respondents were ‘extremely’ or ‘very satisfied’ with their M2CON experience with 95% reporting that they are likely to attend next year.  Thank you to all of the participants for making M2Con 2017 a huge success!  We hope you will consider joining us in 2018!
